Our taco truck

From week 7-9 room 20 made taco trucks in groups.  Me, Kieran and Caroline were  in a group together and we made this little taco truck you can see here.  This activity was all about learning areas and perimeters.  We all learned that perimeters are the outline of an object as areas are the inside of an object.  We also learned all about how to measure perimeters and areas in shapes and objects. The thing that I liked the most about the taco trucks was designing the taco trucks logo and colour schemes.

What is force?

A force is an energy that makes an object move.  A force can be shown with many different actions such as, pushing and pulling as contact forces, and magnetism and gravity as non contact forces.  Air can also be a source of force as it can push objects such as paper, feathers and other things in the wind.  KInetic energy can also be a source of force in many ways.  Have you ever stopped your car and felt a little nudge forward?  That's kinetic energy at it's finest.  Force isn't put on everything, as some things are to heavy to be pushed by the strength of the force pushing against it, meaning that if a force is weak enough, it will not move an object, but if it is strong enough, it will move it.
